Kate: I watched this movie yesturday on Thanksgivving day. We visited my moms cousin at her house. I was going swimming later, and had already played too much pool and ping-pong so I went through their movies and randomly picked this one. I should have probabaly watched it twice to fully understand it, but that's probably just me.
It's all about Wolfgang Amadeuos Motzart, the famous composer. The thing is that it is told from the point of view of anpther composer, looking back on his life after he has tryed to commite suicide and is nearing death. He tells it to priest, sorta as a confession, but not really cause he keeps talking about how he hates God and glaring at the priest.
Motzart (or Wolfie as he is called a lot in the movie) is a stuck up brat. he's talented and he knows it. If anyone wants his music they have to put up with him. It's kinda funny. But at the same time you want to strangle him for being such a brat. He writes operas about unspeakable things (like brothels, and a common peoples uprising) and is an acoholic. He gets married and has one boy. In the end he.....opps. Let's just say that the old man telling the story claimes to have killed Motzart.
*Warning* Opening scene is pretty gory, but just for a few seconds.
So go watch it, or don't. It's a bit weird, so unless you find that amusing, don't watch it. I guess what I'm trying to say (while have imense problems typing with my new nails) is watch it at your own risk.
